- The warranty period for Hikvision products ranges between 2 - 5 years. For details on the product warranties provided by Hikvision, click here.
- Sensor reserves the right to repair or swap out under warranty.
- Faulty Hikvision IP cameras, analogue cameras and recorders can be swapped out for replacement at any Sensor branch subject to the terms of the swap-out policy.
- Sensor has a carry-in warranty.
- When a unit is booked in for repairs, the unit’s invoice should be presented to verify the purchase and warranty information.
- A 72-hour turnaround time can be expected on repairs from Sensor’s in-house Hikvision workshops.
- If the unit is found faulty, with no physical damage a swap out may occur.
- When a swap-out occurs, the defective unit is credited to the customer account and the replacement model gets invoiced for record and future warranty purposes.
- Any outsourced repairs may take up to 7 days depending on workload.
- Outsourced repairs may incur charges, which are charged to the customer’s account.
- Out-of-warranty product testing or assessment will incur labour charges.
- No fault found testing is chargeable at R 150.00 (excl. VAT.)

RMA PROCESS
- Sensor has a 7 day return policy from date of purchase.
- Returns must be pre-approved by the Sales Managers.
- 15% Handling fee is chargeable after 7 days should the return be accepted.
- Equipment that is returned, must be brand new and un-used.
